Two elements, two roles

The player opens and organises a compatible media source. The subscription describes the service and content available under its rights and terms. Paying for a player licence does not create a content source.

What to compare

For the player, check device, licence duration and transfer terms. For the subscription, check total price, duration, simultaneous connections and offer scope. The two durations may differ.

Avoid an unnecessary activation

If you already use an activated player, provide its exact name and version. A new service duration does not automatically require a new app licence. Confirm this before purchase.
