MAC and Device Key: what should you share?
Minimise information and check its destination.
Share the minimum
Some players display an application-specific MAC. Do not automatically confuse this with a device network address. Check player instructions and include it only when necessary.
A key may grant access
The MAC displayed in the player is required; Device Key is optional. These details are included in your WhatsApp activation message.
Three things to remember
- Identify the exact model and player.
- Check price, duration and conditions before purchase.
- Never share sensitive credentials in a URL.
See current prices in the subscription grid and your player options.
